Happy New Year, readers! I hope this note finds you well and moving into 2024 with resilience and grace. Today, I'm thrilled to introduce something close to my heart – a tool designed to peel back the layers of leadership, revealing the real, courageous, and inclusive leader within you.

It's not just an assessment; it's a mirror reflecting the hidden corners where growth awaits. As leaders, we often grapple with the fear of imperfection, the doubt of not being inclusive enough, and the uncertainty of where to begin. Your Inclusivity Readiness Report is here to illuminate those stumbling blocks and show you the way forward.
As I wrote Stumbling Towards Inclusion, I reflected on the hundreds of leaders I’ve had the privilege of working with in my career as a Leadership Coach. I went back and interviewed many of them to learn more about how they overcame challenges to being more inclusive leaders. I also did focus groups and more individual interviews to really understand how people made sense of the barriers holding them back from reaching their potential. All of that data clustered into 8 categories that I now call “Stumbling Blocks”. There’s the Perfection Pursuer, for example - the person who relentlessly strives for perfection, even at the expense of inclusion itself. Another favorite of mine is the Rescue Ranger, the leader who erroneously believes that saving and intervening on behalf of people from underrepresented backgrounds will help to create inclusive spaces. When you take this assessment, you will find out exactly how much of each of these Stumbling Blocks you occupy.
Taking the assessment is like embarking on a journey of self-discovery. It's not about spotlighting weaknesses; it's about identifying areas ripe for growth. We all stumble; it's part of the human experience. But it's in those stumbling moments that we find the gems of resilience, vulnerability, and inclusivity.
